Away from the studio, Amanda is a regular host of events – be it charity dinners, Q&A sessions, open floor debates, or corporate presentations.

Amanda was superb, fitted in as one of the team but always professional and accommodating. I had a number of people comment on how her professionalism greatly enhanced the launches, so we’ll certainly be in touch for future Castrol events.

Working with Amanda on the Help for Heroes Celebrity Golf Day I have to say was a real pleasure, her understanding of the event, the passion she displayed to help in any capacity and her sheer enthusiasm made my job as Event Director so easy. Amanda has a lovely way about her that instantly makes people feel very comfortable in her presence, in my opinion she is the ultimate professional, knowledgeable and extremely charismatic. Amanda in her role as presenter performed her duties with great style, humour and professionalism that contributed significantly to the success of the event. I will certainly be inviting Amanda to work on all our future events.

Stacey Jefferies, Event Director, Help For Heroes National Celebrity Golf Day

Amanda was absolutely brilliant as our compere for the 2012 KIDS gala dinner, our most important fundraising event of the year. She engaged, entertained and motivated our very special audience of high profile attendees. The event was a great success because of her efforts and charisma on the night. She is a true professional, a fantastic host and so lovely to work with – we hope to do so again in the near future!”

Kevin Williams, Chief Executive, KIDS

I am writing to thank you for agreeing to host our recent fundraising ball. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening, which was greatly enhanced by your attendance. You were brilliant!

Terry Baxter, Chief Executive, ITFC Charitable Trust

Any fundraising event depends in large part on the strength of the host of the evening to engage the guests, ensure everything is run on time, be charming yet firm and, most importantly, convince the audience to donate their hard earned cash. Amanda’s skills in these areas meant that the evening was a resounding success, she held the guests in the palm of her hand, encouraged them when it was needed, made them laugh when required and, crucially, knew when to withdraw to allow the guests to enjoy themselves.

Jenny Kapusniak, Event Organiser, An Evening for KIDS

Amanda formed part of our raceday presenter team at the inaugural QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot – the UK’s most prestigious day’s horse racing. We brought her in to bring a fresh and informed sporting perspective to the occasion, in keeping with the event’s objectives. We look forward to working with her again.”

Rod Street, Chief Executive, Racing Enterprises Ltd, Racing for Change & British Champions Series.

When we invited Amanda to chair a national disability sports conference addressing the difference London 2012 will make, she was committed, professional, inspiring, and – without doubt – helped make the day a huge success for the hundreds taking part.
